Domodedovo International Airport: It is the largest Airport in Russia which is situated in

Domodedovsky district of Moscow. One of the busiest airports in Russia,Domodedovo has the capacity to hold more than 22 million passengers per annum. This airport is exactly located about 42 km south east from central Moscow.

 

Sheremetyevo International Airport: Sheremetyevo international Airport is located about 30 km from Moscow in Russia. It was established in 1996 having the capacity to hold more than 2,000 passengers per day which occupies about 85sq km of territories.

Vnukovo International Airport: It is one of the three airports which is located about 28 km southwest from Central Moscow. Vnukovo airport was opened for military purposes during the World War II, having the capacity to control more than nine million passengers every year.

Vladivostok International Airport: Vladivostok airport is situated near the Artyom, Primorsky Krai about 44 km northern part of Vladivostok city, having two airfields such as Lake Springs and Knevichi. This airport has both domestic as well as international terminals with the capacity to control about five million passengers per year.

Sochi International Airport: Sochi International Airport is situated in Sochi city near the Black Sea which is recognized as one of the busiest airports in Russia. This airport serves more than one million passengers per year. The territories of Sochi are recognized as the largest resort in Russia and serves as the major attraction for local as well as international visitors.

Getting around Russia by airway is more flexible as compared to other modes of transportation. There are more than 50 domestic airports and eleven international airports in different regions of Russia which are serving many of the local as well as foreign visitors every year.
