The highest temperature recorded in the history of North Pole is 41 F. The sea is absolutely covered with 2 to 3 meter ice level. But the explorers forecast that the Arctic Ocean may be snow free in summer season within a few decades due to the global warming.
A home to wonderful and rare flora and fauna, North Pole offers various strange animals such as- Polar bears, Ringed seal, and Arctic foxes. Apart from this, rare birds like- Snow Bunting, Northern Fulmar and Black-legged Kittiwakes and fishes- shrimps, sea anemone and amphipods which can be enjoyed during the trip to North Pole.
The discovery of this amazing destination was carried out from 19th century and it is still under exploration. In 2007, Russian groups went to the Place and placed their flag in the territory of North Pole which is Russian territory now.
