The Kremlin

The Kremlin is one of the beautiful fortresses which is situated in the heart of Moscow city having cultural, political and spiritual importance which was formally established in 1147 with a wooden fort. It is also said to be the historical, spiritual and political landmark of Moscow.

Having the impressive structure, the Kremlin offers various natural as well as cultural beauties which are the major tourist attractions in Moscow. The history of the Kremlin goes back to the 2nd century when the Slavs occupied the territories of Russia. Most of the south-western hilly territories of Russia was occupied by the Slavs communities and ruled over there. At the same time, the hills were developed as a fort from the 11th century.

 

It was developed by different rulers in their regime and given the new structure which has now become the major tourist destination in Moscow. The beautiful Kremlin is occupied with number of churches, cathedrals, historical buildings and so on.
